WELCOME TO MAINE FOREST YURTS
Maine Forest Yurts is a 100 acre pond-side retreat owned and operated by the Crowley family who developed their property for the adventurous at heart. They wanted to offer a place to share their love of the Maine outdoors and their love of hosting and entertaining people. Thus, Maine Forest Yurts was born!
Bob Crowley was the winner of the reality TV show Survivor: Gabon in 2008. His passion for the outdoor world is displayed at Maine Forest Yurts!

During your stay at the yurt:
- Please observe quiet hours between sundown and sunup. Noise should be kept to a minimum as to not alter the sounds of nature

- The yurt can sleep up to 6 people. There are twin size bunk beds and futons that pull to a full bed.
- The yurt has a solar battery for lighting and a USB port for charging cell phones. We suggest that you bring extra flashlights and headlamps. There are no electrical outlets in the yurt. NO candles or gas lamps!
- The yurt has a wood stove for heating. We provide wood for the wood stove inside the yurt. Do not use the wood provided in the wood shed for outdoor campfires; you are welcome to gather wood from the area or we have outdoor firewood available for $5 per bundle (cash only).

About Bob
In 2008, Bob Crowley was selected to compete on the reality TV show Survivor: Gabon and 39 days later he was voted the oldest winner in the show’s history.
He also won the ‘Sprint Survivor of the Season’ which is voted by the fans for their favorite player. His knack for the outdoors and his wilderness survival skills allowed him to comfortably play the game of Survivor.
After Bob retired from teaching high school physics for 25 years, he started Maine Forest Yurts, which offers individuals, couples, families and groups an eco-friendly, camping experience where guests can connect with nature in the Maine outdoors.
